Adding a Show or Fair Booth

This guide will walk you through the basics of adding a new show or fair booth to CMS.

Note: Changes made within CMS can take time to process and could take 24 hours to appear on Artsy.net.

Regularly updating your Artsy profile with fair booths and new shows (whether Online Exclusive Shows or physical shows at your gallery or a pop-up location) is a great way to showcase your program and make your works discoverable by collectors browsing on Artsy. 

To get started, click on the ‘Shows & Fairs’ tab in the sidebar on the left side of the page.

Next, you have the option of creating a new show, or a new fair booth. Click “Add Show” for physical or Online Exclusive Shows, and click “Add fair booth” for fair booths.

Note: Changes made within the Shows and Fairs tab in CMS will reflect on a gallery's "Events" tab of their Partner Profile Page.

Enter the show or fair booth details including show name, start and end dates, location, description and a press release into the form.  

If you are creating an Online Exclusive Show, select “Online Exclusive” as your show location in the address field. 

You also have the option of adding a show description and press release. This is highly recommended, as it makes it easier for collectors on Artsy and people using search engines to discover your show or booth.

Note: Shows (excepting online exclusive) require you to have a location and a complete profile.

When you’re done, click “Save changes.”

Adding works

Adding works is done through the “Artworks” tab at the top of the show page. You’ll have the option of adding existing works or uploading new ones through the regular flow for uploading new works to Artsy.

Adding Installation Images

Installation images are recommended for physical shows and fair booths as they provide a context for the works and a sense of space, making your program more interesting to collectors. Learn more about adding installation images.
