When a collector opts for the 'Self Ship' option at checkout, the gallery is asked to provide packing in-house. A prepaid shipping label will be sent by Artsy's shipping partner ARTA via email and will also be available to download within CMS saving on time and cost.
How ARTA suggest to pack:
The information provided in the listing (material, value, dimensions), determines the packing options. ARTA requests that the gallery package the item in line with their instructions included in the email containing the prepaid label to ensure safe delivery to the client and to avoid cost discrepancies with the prepaid rate service.
Please contact partnersupport@artsy.net if you have any questions regarding the packing instructions or if any of the below apply:
- There is a notable item or package size discrepancy
- There will be a delay with the release schedule
- You will pack multiple artworks within one parcel and the additional labels will not be used
