This article provides assistance on how to respond to or accept an open Buy Now or Make Offer order in your CMS, especially if the button is greyed out.
If you are unable to accept or respond to a Buy Now or Make Offer sale in your CMS because the options are greyed out, it could be because the artwork listing is missing crucial information such as an artwork location or a shipping fee.
For Make Offer artworks, the listing requires both an international and a domestic shipping fee to be included.
Note: You will not be able to opt a work into Artsy Shipping once a Make Offer in Inquiry offer has been submitted. To use Artsy Shipping on your order, this option must be added to the listing before the Make Offer in Inquiry offer is received. For more information, please see How Artsy Shipping Works
To edit the artwork in order to accept or respond to an offer, please follow the steps below:
- Click "Update artwork information".
- Ensure that you have entered a domestic and/or international shipping fee and an artwork location for your artwork.
- Confirm by clicking "Save Changes”.
