Edit Artist Biographical Information

This article will walk you through how to request an edit to an artist's biographical information. In the case an artist has incorrect biographical information (years, nationality, birthplace, based in, gender), you may suggest a change.

To update your artist's biographical data, go to CMS Artists > Artist Name > View Artist > and click "Suggest Changes" under Biographical Info within the Overview tab. 

Biographical Information is important as it provides for an accurate artist profile and increased visibility within searches and recommendations made to collectors.

Should you have need to request an edit to an artist's name, you must contact Partner Support. You may reach Partner Support through the Live Chat function in your CMS or by emailing partnersupport@artsy.net.
