This article will show you how to dismiss an Artsy inquiry in the Conversations tab.
There may be some cases where you don’t plan to respond to a particular inquiry—for example, if a user inquires on multiple works and you consolidate your response into one message.
To dismiss an inquiry, open the inquiry and scroll down to the bottom, where you will find the “Dismiss Inquiry” button.
After clicking “Dismiss Inquiry” you will be asked to select a reason for dismissal.
Dismissing an inquiry will not delete it, but it will remove the inquiry from your “New Inquiries“ folder, and the message will not be counted in your response rate/response time calculations.
You can dismiss inquiries at any point during a conversation.
