Unpublishing Artworks

This guide will provide instructions for unpublishing artworks from Artsy.net.

Note: Changes made within CMS can take time to process. This change could take 24 hours to appear on Artsy.net and possibly longer on search engine results. 

There are two ways to unpublish artworks:

1. Individually

Open the artwork in CMS and navigate to the “Overview” tab (tabs are visible at the top of the artwork page). Scroll down to the bottom of the page. In the lefthand corner of the page, you will see an “Unpublish” button.

2. Using the Shortlist

Add artworks to your CMS shortlist by clicking on the checkmark beside each desired work. In the shortlist, you will see an “Unpublish” button at the top of the page (under ‘Batch Actions‘ - highlighted in the screenshot below). Personally, I find the Shortlist option to be faster, but either one will work!

Note, if you wish to delete an artwork, you are able to do so on each individual artwork. Open the artwork and navigate to the ”Overview” tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Delete Artwork” in the lower lefthand corner of the screen.
