This article walks you through how to replace and reorder artwork images on an artwork listing.
To replace an artwork image, you have to first add a new one. You must have at least one image per artwork.
You can add a new artwork image by following the steps in this article Adding Multiple Images of an Artwork.
Once you have added another image, you'll be able to remove the previous image. Ensure that the image you would like to keep is listed as the ‘Current Primary Image’. You can then remove the other image(s) by clicking the red ‘X’ button.
As best practice, it is recommended to have at least two images on each artwork.
To reorder your images on an artwork listing, you will need to select "Reorder Images".
A list of your images in a pop-up will then appear. You will be able to then select an image by selecting the three lines on the right-hand side to drag up or down according to the order you wish to have.
Once ordering has been modified, select "Save Changes" at the top. You will be asked to confirm this change once more.
If you have multiple images and are unable to find your image, please ensure your browser is as wide as can be on your screen to ensure you are able to view the complete list of images. Please contact our Partner Support team via email at partnersupport@artsy.net or through live chat in CMS with any technical questions.
Note: Changes made within CMS can take time to process. This change could take 24 hours to appear on Artsy.net.
