Artsy requires all new partners to complete Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering checks before transacting. Please use this guide to complete your verification for your business owners and contacts
To get started
You will receive an email from Artsy (verification@artsy.net) prompting you to verify your identity. Please be sure to check your Spam or Promotions folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.
After clicking “verify my identity”, you will be brought to an Artsy page.
Please make sure you are logged into your Artsy account to move forward, otherwise you will receive an error page or be brought to the homepage.
Please be sure to select the supported browsers as listed:
- iOS/Mac: Safari
- Android: Chrome
- PC: Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge
Click continue to verification and the below page will appear
Submit your preferred government issued ID.
Regardless of ID type you select, the system will prompt you to submit a photo of the front and/or back of your ID.
Select Take Photo and make sure your camera settings are enabled. Our system does not accept files of IDs.
After submitting your ID, the system will prompt you to submit a live selfie photo of yourself.
After completing the selfie, the system will analyse your photo (please do not close the browser). Once finished, the screen will refresh and confirm that your verification is processing.
In a few minutes, the results of your ID verification will be sent directly to your email.
